Dry All DMH Filter Drier – Clean & Protect Your Refrigeration System

The Dry All DMH Liquid Line Filter Drier is designed to protect refrigeration and air-conditioning systems against moisture, acids and unwanted solid contaminants circulating with the refrigerant.

The DMH Series uses a specially formulated combination of molecular sieve and activated alumina. The molecular sieve provides high moisture adsorption while activated alumina helps remove acids from the refrigeration circuit.

How Does a Filter Drier Protect the System?

A liquid-line filter drier performs two important jobs: filtration and drying.

1. Refrigerant Enters Refrigerant from the condenser or receiver flows through the liquid line into the filter drier.
2. Contaminants Are Filtered The filtration medium traps unwanted particles circulating inside the refrigeration circuit.
3. Moisture & Acid Are Adsorbed The desiccant adsorbs moisture and acids before they reach critical refrigeration components.
4. Cleaner Refrigerant Leaves Cleaner and drier liquid refrigerant continues toward the expansion device and evaporator.

Why Is a Filter Drier Important?

Moisture and contamination inside a refrigeration system can cause several operating problems. A properly selected filter drier helps reduce the risk of:

โœ“ Moisture circulating through the system
โœ“ Acid contamination
โœ“ Expansion device blockage
โœ“ Dirt entering sensitive refrigeration components
โœ“ Ice formation caused by moisture at the expansion device
โœ“ Premature damage to compressors and other components

How to Select the Correct DMH Filter Drier

1. Check Liquid Line Size Match the SAE flare connection with the refrigeration liquid line.
2. Check Refrigerant Confirm compatibility with the refrigerant used in the system.
3. Consider System Capacity Larger refrigeration systems generally require greater liquid flow and drying capacity.
4. Consider Refrigerant Charge The quantity of refrigerant in the system affects the required filter-drier drying capacity.
5. Check Pressure Drop Select sufficient filter-drier capacity without creating unnecessary liquid-line pressure drop.
6. Confirm Model Match the complete Dry All model number before replacement.
