The Copeland Emerson ALCO Filter Drier Core range provides different core formulations for different refrigeration system conditions.

Depending on the selected model, the core can help remove moisture, acids, soluble contaminants, wax and solid debris from the refrigerant circuit.

These replaceable cores are designed for use in compatible take-apart filter drier shells, allowing the internal core to be serviced without replacing the complete shell.

Core Size: Copeland identifies the replaceable elements by nominal volume. 48 cubic inch cores are primarily associated with STAS take-apart shells, while 100 cubic inch cores are used with ADKS shells.

Compatible Take-Apart Filter Drier Shells

Copeland replacement cores and filters are designed primarily for the company's STAS and ADKS take-apart filter drier shell families and compatible competitive take-apart shells.

STAS Series Commonly uses 48 cubic inch replaceable cores. Different STAS shells may contain one or several cores.
ADKS Series Larger-capacity take-apart filter drier shells typically use 100 cubic inch replacement cores.
Serviceable Design The shell can remain installed while the internal core is replaced during suitable refrigeration service procedures.
Compatibility Note: Copeland states that these replacement cores and filters must not be used in BTAS shells. Always verify the filter-drier shell model before installation.
