The Copeland Emerson ALCO STAS Series is a steel take-apart filter drier shell designed for large commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

Unlike a disposable sealed filter drier, STAS uses replaceable filter or filter-drier cores. When servicing is required, the shell remains installed in the refrigeration piping while the internal core can be replaced.

This serviceable design makes STAS especially suitable for larger systems where long-term maintenance, contamination removal and compressor protection are important.

Which Core Can Be Used?

STAS shells accept Copeland-compatible 48 cu.in. replaceable filter and filter-drier cores. The required core should be selected according to the system condition.

โš— Acid & Moisture Removal Suitable filter-drier cores are available for refrigeration systems requiring both acid and moisture removal.
