Cold Room Emergency Safety System
The CAREL ColdWatch Trapped Personnel Alarm Kit is designed to help protect personnel working inside low-temperature cold rooms and freezer rooms. If someone becomes trapped, they can activate the illuminated emergency push-button inside the cold room, triggering the external warning system.
The system combines a powerful siren, flashing red alarm light, configurable relay output and backup battery in a practical cold room safety solution. CAREL describes the product as compliant with European standard EN 378-1.
How CAREL ColdWatch Works
Emergency Panic Button
Illuminated red mushroom-head push-button for easy identification, including in dark conditions.
IP65 | -25°C to +40°CAlarm & Control Unit
External control unit with a flashing red LED and audible siren to signal an emergency.
IP43 | 100 dB at 1 mThe backup battery is housed inside the external control unit and provides up to 10 hours of operation when fully charged.
