Danfoss Maneurop® Reciprocating Compressor – MT / MTZ Series
Danfoss Maneurop® MT and MTZ hermetic reciprocating compressors are designed for medium- and high-evaporating-temperature refrigeration applications. With 16 compressor sizes, multiple refrigerant options and robust reciprocating technology, the range is widely applied in commercial refrigeration, cold rooms and process cooling systems.
MT and MTZ compressors share the proven Danfoss Maneurop reciprocating platform but are intended for different refrigerant and lubricant requirements. MT compressors are traditionally supplied with mineral oil for R22 applications, while MTZ compressors use POE lubricant and provide much broader multi-refrigerant compatibility.

Not every MTZ model, voltage code and configuration is automatically approved for every refrigerant listed.
In particular, A2L refrigerants such as R454A, R454C and R455A require an approved compressor configuration and appropriate system safety measures.
